When I was asked to cover the walk into the dawn I didn't think it would mean getting up at 2:30 and walk in the dark for a couple of hours. It was a technical test of equipment and imagination. Just seeing the walkers was hard enough, photographing then rather harder.

It never occurred to me that changing a lightbulb was a big job but at the Jersey Opera house it tends to be. Experts are called in to clean the many glass beads  of the chandelier. At least the craftsmen had plenty of light to work with, and so did I!
