Every time I shoot a pre-wedding it reinforces the fact that, spending time and getting to know a couple before the wedding makes such a big difference. When I first started photo reportage my aim was to document a couple wedding day as beautifully and truthfully as I could. At the time I was one of very few people willing to take the risk of doing such a crazy thing. Following the way of traditional wedding photographers would have been so much easier than working to find the natural special moments that will still be real in 20 years time.

I had the pleasure of photographing Suzy and Ian”s pre wedding last week and despite getting rather wet and having to climb under waterfalls, it turned out to be so worthwhile, and a real pleasure.
